The 10th January of 1972 is one of the Red Letter Days in the chronology of the liberation struggle of Bangalee nation. On this day, the greatest Bangalee of all time, the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman returned to independent Bangladesh after over nine and a half months’ confinement in a Pakistani jail.
