Ambassador Rabab Fatima as President of the UNICEF.
On 11 February 2020, UNICEF Executive Board 2020 President H.E. Ms. Rabab Fatima, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations and President of the UNICEF 2020 Executive Board, speaks at the first regular session of the 2020 Executive Board at United Nations Headquarters in New York. From 11 to 13 February 2020, the first regular session of the 2020 UNICEF Executive Board is taking place at United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) in New York. The session is led by the UNICEF Executive Board 2020 President H.E. Ms. Rabab Fatima, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Bangladesh to the United Nations and UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta H. Fore. The Executive Board is the governing body of UNICEF, providing intergovernmental support and oversight to the organization, in accordance with the overall policy guidance of the United Nations General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council. The Executive Board reviews UNICEF activities and approves its policies, country programmes and budgets. It comprises 36 members, representing the five regional groups of Member States at the United Nations.
