National Children’s Day-2023 Competition

The Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations, New York will celebrate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children’s Day on Saturday, 18 March 2023 at 11:30am at the Mission Premises. As part of the celebration, the following competitions will be held with the children of the expatriate members of Bangladesh community in the United States:

2. Instructions for participation:

• The participants will write a short Essay on Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangla and Smart Bangladesh The Essay has to be hand-written;
• The participants will recite any part of the historic 7th of March Speech within specified time limit for each group;
• The winners will be invited to read out their Essays live and the winning videos will be displayed during the event;
• All participants will receive certificate of participation and the winners will receive prizes and certificates;
• All the participants/competitors of drawing/painting are requested to bring their required art paper, brush and colour and requested to be present at the Mission Premises by 09:30am on 18 March 2023;
• The decision of the jury is final.

3. Interested participants are requested to send their submissions (Essay and video) along with their names, parents’ name, mailing address, group, proof of age, an electronic copy of passport size photo by 13 March 2023 to the following email:
